Canon EOS 1V EOS-1V HS 35mm SLR Film Camera with Tamron AF Aspherical LD 28-200mm 1:3.8-5.6 171D Lens 35mm SLR film Nikon mount
I'm selling my Canon EOS 1V camera $600 which includes the 28-200mm lens + The film you see in the photo. I'm selling this as I bought this on an impulse and was planning on doing studio and landscape shots. The shutter works flawlessly almost as though it's brand new. I don't have the original battery grip only the expansion battery grip (This is how I purchased it but does make the camera lighter when you don't want to use the expansion pack.)

- Weather sealing ensures it can handle challenging shooting conditions without flinching.
Autofocus and Speed:
- The EOS-1V features a 45-point autofocus system, which was groundbreaking at the time.
- It offers three focusing modes: one-shot AF, AI servo AF (for tracking moving subjects), and manual focus.
- The autofocus is lightning-fast, making it ideal for capturing action, sports, and news events.
Continuous Shooting:
- This camera is a speed demon. It can fire off up to 9 frames per second (fps) in AI Servo mode and an impressive 10 fps in One Shot mode when paired with the optional PB-E2 or NP-E2 battery grip.
- For sports photographers, this was a game-changer.
Customization and Control:
- The EOS-1V offers 20 built-in Custom Functions, allowing photographers to fine-tune various settings to their liking.

- The 21-zone evaluative metering system ensures accurate exposure even in challenging lighting conditions.
Shutter Speed and Flash:
- The top shutter speed is an impressive 1/8000 second, allowing for freezing fast action.
- X-sync speed is 1/250 second.
- E-TTL autoflash compatibility ensures seamless integration with Canon's dedicated Speedlite flashes.
Film Format and ISO Range:
- The EOS-1V shoots 35mm film (full-frame format) with a standard frame size of 24mm x 36mm.
- The ISO range extends up to 6400, which was quite respectable for its time.
Vertical Shooting Option:
- You can attach the PB-E2 battery grip for comfortable vertical shooting. It's especially handy for portrait work.
